Frequently asked questions
In short
The Hexagon Storm is a 46 mm hexagonal quartz skeleton watch with a sapphire crystal and 5 ATM water resistance. We ship tracked, accept returns on unworn watches, and handle a 2-year warranty ourselves.
Who makes the Hexagon Storm?
It is made by maker named on the box. Sixth Planet Watch Co. is an independent retailer: we didn't design or build the watch. We buy it new, inspect each unit, ship it and handle your warranty and returns ourselves.
Is the Hexagon Storm automatic or quartz?
Quartz. It uses a Japanese quartz movement with a battery rated for 2–3 years. It never needs winding.
What size is the Hexagon Storm?
The hexagonal case is 46 mm wide. It is 7 mm thick, slim for a skeleton watch, so it slides under a shirt cuff.
Is the crystal sapphire?
Yes, sapphire rated 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, with an anti-reflective coating.
Can I swim with it?
No. It is water-resistant to 5 ATM, which covers rain, splashes and hand-washing. Remove it before swimming, showering or using a hot tub.
How long does the battery last, and who replaces it?
The battery is rated for 2–3 years. Any watch shop can replace it; a battery change does not void our warranty.
Which colorway should I choose?
Titan (steel and black) is the most versatile. Mimas (all black) is the most understated. Iapetus (black and gold) is the boldest. Enceladus (white) is the easiest to read. Tethys (blue) is the one people ask about most.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free and tracked on every order. Orders leave within 1–2 business days. We ship to countries.
What is your return policy?
Return an unworn watch within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Return shipping is free: we email you a prepaid label.
What does the warranty cover?
Two years from delivery against manufacturing defects in the movement, case and crystal. We handle claims directly; you don't deal with the factory.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes / no, and price
